PT. Citra Sari Makmur (“CSM”) is a company founded in 1987 by Subagio
Wirjoatmodjo and established under the Law of the Republic of Indonesia.
On May 7, 1993, the Company changed its status into a joint venture company
between Subagio Wirjoatmodjo (51.05%) and Bell Atlantic Indonesia, USA
(48.95%). Later on by November 8, 1996, PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk.
(the Indonesian Incumbent Carrier / Operator) participated as a shareholder
of the company. The prevailing shareholder’s composition is as follow:
PT Tigatra Media / Subagio Wirjoatmodjo : 38.29 %
Media Trio (L) Inc. a wholly own subsidiary of PT Tigatra Media : 36.71 %
PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. : 25.00 %

CSM is a telecommunication public network service provider established
in Indonesia. Operating License was awarded on January 16, 1989 by the
Department of Tourism Post & Telecommunication of the Republic of
Indonesia. CSM is the first Satellite/VSAT public service provider in
Indonesia as well as in Asia. Commercial Operation was started on early
1990.
The current licenses issued for CSM and governed by Indonesian Telecommunication Law 36/1999 are as follow :
A. National Network Provider (non PSTN telephony) by satellite, cable & wireless (long distance).
B. National Network Provider: Local access digital data network (DDN)/packet switched network.
C. International Network Provider (NAP, international cable landing station, and international satellite gateway).
D. Frequencies allocation of 2 x 6 Mhz & 4 x 3,5 Mhz for national broadband wireless.
E. Through its affiliate : Multimedia Service Provider (ISP and Multimedia/Pay-TV).
